Collectors Ledger collects the information needed to operate a collector account and provide catalog, portfolio, wishlist, and social features across the web app and mobile app.
- Account information such as email address, handle, password hash, subscription tier, and profile details you choose to add.
- Collection, wishlist, portfolio, and pricing activity, including item saves, quantities, costs, notes, valuation preferences, and watch activity.
- Content you create in social or club features, including posts, comments, profile bios, likes, follows, reports, and uploaded images.
- Technical and usage information such as device, browser, app version, IP address, log data, authentication events, and request metadata used for security and performance.
- Support or administrative communications you send to us, including password reset requests and moderation-related reports.
How we use information
We use information to run the service, personalize your collector experience, protect the platform, and improve features.
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and keep sessions secure.
- Power collection tracking, wishlists, valuation displays, portfolio summaries, social posts, clubs, and notifications.
- Moderate user-generated content, investigate abuse, enforce platform rules, and respond to reports.
- Send service communications such as password reset emails, account notices, and important operational messages.
- Analyze product usage, reliability, and feature performance so we can improve the app experience.
How information may be shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed to operate the service, process requests, or comply with legal obligations.
Information you publish in social, clubs, profile, or public collection-style surfaces may be visible to other users according to the visibility settings of the feature.

- Other users when you intentionally post, comment, upload images, join clubs, or otherwise share content through public or follower-visible features.
- Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law, valid process, or to protect users, the service, or our rights.

Retention, security, and your choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention may differ by data type.

You may update profile information from your account settings. You can also initiate account deletion from account settings in the web app or mobile app, or contact info@collectorsledger.com for privacy-related help.
- Web sessions and mobile authentication tokens are used to keep accounts signed in and secure.
- Public posts or community interactions may remain visible to others unless removed by you, moderated, or deleted in connection with an account deletion request.
- Backups, fraud-prevention logs, billing records, and moderation records may be retained for limited periods where legally or operationally necessary.
Children, international use, and contact
Collectors Ledger is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can investigate.
